Effective Immediately – Partial Closure of Manhattan Avenue for Emergency Utility Repairs

Manhattan Avenue between West Bay to Bay Boulevard and El Prado Avenue is closed to facilitate the repair of a corroded wastewater pipe.  Detours are in place to direct motorists around the closed section of the road. Access will remain open for local traffic only. The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by close of business on Friday, December 20, 2019, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
