Temporary Road Closure on E 7th Avenue to begin August 19, 2019 for Building Construction
A portion of E 7th Avenue between Nuccio Parkway and N 21st Street will close beginning on Monday, August 19, 2019 for building construction. A private contractor will be staging a crane on E 7th Avenue between N Avenue Republica De Cuba and N 15th Street for installation of HVAC equipment and associated support structures for the new Ybor Hotel. E 7th Avenue between N Avenue Republica De Cuba and N 15th Street will close at 9 am on August 19, 2019.
The sidewalk on the north side of E 7th Avenue between N Avenue Republica De Cuba and N 15th Street is currently closed due to the hotel construction. The sidewalk on the south side of E 7th Avenue between N Avenue Republica De Cuba and N 15th Street will close during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area.
E 7th Avenue between N Avenue Republica De Cuba and N 15th Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, August 30, 2019, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
