Temporary Lane Closure W Cass Street to begin August 7, 2019 for Utility Construction
A portion of W Cass Street between N Howard Avenue and N Rome Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, for Utility Construction. A utility contractor will be installing a gas service line on W Cass Street between N Howard Avenue and N Albany Avenue for a new restaurant at 701 N Howard Avenue.
The eastbound lane on W Cass Street between N Howard Avenue and N Albany Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on August 7, 2019.
The sidewalk on the south side of W Cass Street between N Howard Avenue and N Albany Avenue will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via signage to other sidewalks in the area.
All lanes on W Cass Street between N Howard Avenue and N Albany Avenue are scheduled to be open to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
