Temporary Road Closure on E Brorein Street and S Jefferson Street to begin July 24, 2019 for Traffic Signal Maintenance
A portion of E Brorein Street between S Nebraska Avenue and S Jefferson Street and S Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and E Brorein Street will close over two (2) consecutive nights beginning on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, for traffic signal maintenance. A City contractor will be removing the old traffic signal poles to activate the signals on the new traffic signal pole and mastarms at the intersection of E Brorein Street and S Jefferson Street. E Brorein Street between S Nebraska Avenue and S Jefferson Street and S Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and E Brorein Street will close at 9 pm on July 24, 2019 and will open to traffic by 5 am the following morning.
It is anticipated that all lanes on E Brorein Street and S Jefferson Street will reopen to traffic by 5 am on Friday, July 26, 2019, weather permitting.
