Temporary Lane Closure on W Waters Avenue and N Florida Avenue to begin July 29, 2019 for Utility Construction
A portion of W Waters Avenue between North Boulevard and N Florida Avenue will close beginning at 9 am on Monday, July 29, 2019, as part of a Capital Improvement Project. The City contractor will cut and plug an existing water main for future improvements on the south side of W Waters Avenue.
One (1) eastbound lane on W Waters Avenue between N Ola Avenue and N Florida Avenue will close at 9 am on Monday, July 29, 2019.
One (1) eastbound lane on W Waters Avenue between N Ola Avenue and N Florida Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction.
Sidewalks in the construction area will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area with signage.
All lanes on W Waters Avenue between North Boulevard and N Florida Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. Eastbound motorists can use W Busch Boulevard between N Boulevard and N Florida Avenue in lieu of W Waters Avenue.
