City of Tampa Revises Solid Waste Revised Collection Schedule in Observance of Independence Day
In observance of Independence Day, City of Tampa offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
- Residential customers who normally receive service on Thursday will not receive garbage, recycling or yard waste service. Regular Residential Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume Monday, July 8, 2019.
- Commercial customers will not receive collection service on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Customers who normally receive service on Thursday, will receive service on Friday, July 5, 2019. Collection service will continue to run one day behind through Saturday, July 6, 2019. Regular Commercial Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume Monday, July 8, 2019.
- McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House (114 S. 34th St., Tampa, FL), will be closed Independence Day (Thursday, July 4, 2019) and will reopen Friday, July 5, 2019.
Customers may contact the City of Tampa Utilities Consolidated Call Center at (813) 274-8811, or visit the website atwww.tampagov.net/solidwaste if they have any questions or concerns.
NOTE: New Tampa residents are not provided collection service by the City of Tampa and are encouraged to contact Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management at (813) 272-5680 for their holiday collection schedule.
