Temporary Closure on West Swann Avenue to begin June 4, 2019 for Utility Maintenance Work

Starting Tuesday, June 4, 2019, department crews  will  close  a portion of West Swann Avenue between South Boulevard and  S Brevard Avenue to repair a sewer lateral. Only local traffic will be allowed in the area while this repair is underway.  Detours and signs will be used to assist motorists around the closed section of road and work site.

The repair and restoration of the work area is scheduled for completion by the close of business on Thursday, June 6, weather permitting, and normal traffic patterns will resume.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
