Serious Injury Traffic Crash

 The driver of a Ford truck was southbound in the median lane of Bayshore Blvd. approaching W. Swann Ave.  Two motorcycles crossed eastbound from W. Swann Av. violating his right of way. Both motorcycles made illegal left turns in his path violating the “right turn only” signs and he struck the second motorcycle. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and had serious injuries.  The rider was transported to Tampa General.   Bayshore Blvd and Swann Ave were closed for several hours while Traffic Homicide Detectives investigated.
