Traffic Advisory – American Cancer Breast Cancer Walk
Bayshore Boulevard, Platt Street Bridge and downtown roads around the Amalie Arena will be closed on Saturday, October 20, 2018 between 7:00 am and 11:00 am due to the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Walk taking Place. The 5K walk will begin at 8:00 am. Please allow extra travel time, travel through the areas with caution and be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists.
ROAD CLOSURES: 7:00 am – 11:00 am
- Channelside Drive – Bayshore Boulevard to Morgan Street
- Morgan Street – Eunice Avenue to Old Water Street
- Platt Street – Parker Street to Bayshore Boulevard and Platt Street Bridge
- Bayshore Boulevard – Rome Avenue to Brorein Street
The Tampa Police Department would like to remind you to report suspicious activity. If you see something, say something. No tip is too small. Report anything suspicious to the nearest police officer or submit an anonymous tip using the TPD mobile app available on iPhones and Androids.
