LOCATION:             700 block of East Caracas Street, Tampa

DETAILS:

Tampa Police detectives are working to identify two suspects who are breaking into unattached sheds.  The suspects were caught on surveillance footage stealing tools and lawn equipment from a shed located in the 700 block of East Caracas Street on February 27. They fled the scene in an older-model dark colored pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150, with extended rear wheel wells.  The tire on the front passenger side is missing a hubcap.

Detectives believe the two suspects committed another shed burglary in the Seminole Heights area two weeks before this recent incident.  Both burglaries occurred in the early morning hours between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. The suspects are using the alleyways to commit the burglaries.

Homeowners in the area are urged to secure their unattached sheds, and make sure their surveillance cameras are recording properly.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects or described vehicle is urged to contact Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
