Temporary Lane Closures on N 12th Street to begin January 15, 2018 for Utility Maintenance
A portion of N 12th Street between Channelside Drive and E Kennedy Boulevard will close on Monday, January 15, 2018 for utility maintenance. The northbound lane on N 12th Street between E Whiting Street and E Washington Street and between E Washington Street and E Kennedy Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on January 15, 2018. A utility contractor will be installing utilities in existing underground conduits.
Southbound traffic on N 12th Street between E Kennedy Boulevard and E Whiting Street will be maintained at all times during construction.
It is anticipated that all lanes on N 12th Street between E Whiting Street and E Kennedy Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
