Mayor Bob Buckhorn to Join the Dr. Martin Luther King Parade Foundation, Inc. for Martin Luther King Day Parade

Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan will join the Dr. Martin Luther King Parade Foundation, Inc. for the Martin Luther King Day Parade at 12 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, beginning at 21st Avenue and 15th Street, North on 15th Street and turning East onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, then North onto 22nd Street.  Parade will continue North on 22nd Street and end at Osborne Avenue.  The 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Parade and Community Event with bands, floats, cars and community groups.  The Martin Luther King Day parade is  family friendly, entertaining and fun.  It is also an opportunity for the businesses, social and community groups, that make the City of Tampa strong, to come out and be recognized while supporting a common cause.

WHO: Citizens of Tampa and Tampa Bay area

WHAT: Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King

WHERE: Beginning at 21st Avenue and 15th Street, North on 15th Street and turning east onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, then north onto 22nd Street.  Parade will continue north on 22nd Street and end at Osborne Avenue.]

TIME: Parade will begin at 12 p.m. and will last until 3 p.m.
