Hurricane Irma Impact to City of Tampa Solid Waste Collection Service

City of Tampa Solid Waste collection service will occur, as scheduled, on Thursday, September 7th and Friday, September 8th. The McKay Bay Waste to Energy Facility is also expected to maintain normal operating hours through Friday, September 8, 2017. Residential and Commercial cart and container deliveries will also occur as schedule through Friday, September 8, 2017. Customers may, however, experience delays throughout the remainder of the week as a result of the weather. We appreciate your patience during this time.
Commercial Service on Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th may be cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. The McKay Bay Waste to Energy Facility may also be closed on Saturday, September 9, 2017 due to Hurricane Irma. Changes /closures will be communicated as they become available.
