Temporary Road Closure of Nebraska Avenue between Channelside Drive and Eunice Street to begin August 7, 2017 for Roadway and Infrastructure Improvements

 On Monday, August 7, 2017 at 9 a.m., Nebraska Avenue between Channelside Drive and Eunice Street will close for roadway and infrastructure improvements. The road will reopen to traffic by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017, weather permitting.

During construction, the sidewalk on both sides of Nebraska Avenue between Channelside Drive and Eunice Street will remain closed. The sidewalk on the south side of Eunice Avenue between Nebraska Avenue and Jefferson Street and the sidewalk on both sides of Jefferson Street are open for pedestrian traffic.

One lane on the south side of Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue remains closed for roadway and infrastructure improvements. The lane will reopen to traffic by 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2017, weather permitting

Additionally, Old Water Street from Channelside Drive to Brorein Street remains closed for roadway and infrastructure improvements.  Westbound left turn movement on Channelside Drive at the intersection of Old Water Street is prohibited during construction. Old Water Street between Channelside Drive and Brorein Street will reopen to traffic by 4 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017, weather permitting.

Cumberland Avenue between Nebraska Avenue and Caesar Street and Caesar Street between Channelside Drive and Walton Street will remain closed until Friday, December 29, 2017.
