Temporary Lane Closure on Macinnes Place to begin March 10, 2017 for Straz Event Parking

A portion of Macinnes Place from Fortune Street to Tyler Street will close on Friday, March 10, 2017, for Straz event traffic.  The southbound lane on Macinnes Place from Fortune Street to Tyler Street will  close at 7pm on Friday, March 10, 2017, to assist in directing Straz patrons to available parking.

Macinnes Place will reopen to two-way traffic by 8:30 pm on Friday night.

Beginning Friday, March 10, 2017 through Sunday, September 24, 2017, Macinnes Place from Fortune Street to Tyler Street will be closed one (1) hour before the Straz event start time for all large performances held at the Straz.  The lane closure will also occur during large Saturday and Sunday’s matinees.  Macinnes Place will reopen to traffic 30 mins after each event start. 

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
