Temporary Road Closure on Washington Street for SunTrust Financial Center Construction
A portion of Washington Street from Marion Street to Florida Avenue will be closed on Saturday, January 14, 2017 to stage a crane at the SunTrust Financial Center to repair the roof. This work is being completed by Service Works Commercial Roofing for SunTrust. Washington Street will be closed at 5 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 and will reopen Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 6 pm, weather permitting.
Access to the SunTrust parking garage will be available on Washington Street from Florida Avenue during the construction.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
