LARGO – The J3 Vocal Band will perform Friday, Jan. 27, 8 p.m., at the Central Park Performing Arts Center, 105 Central Park Drive, Largo.
The J3 Vocal Band brings superlative harmony blended with professional musicians that play so many of the great classics from the 1950s through the 1980s. The Johns family – featuring father, mother and son – has toured across this country for more than a decade, singing all the way.
A Sun Events production, tickets start at $19.50 with $5 added at the door. Visit LargoArt.com or call 727-587-6793.
Dennis, Bonnie and Chad Johns make up the J3 Vocal Band. Together, the trio is more than just a family that sings together. With superlative family harmony and dynamic musicians, all with a genuine love of the music they perform, their audiences have a toe-tapping, hand-clapping, singing-along and dancing-in-the-aisles kind of experience each time they perform.
Joining the Johns family are J3 band members Wayne, Mike, Dave and Bryan.
With a unique style, the J3 Vocal Band will perform song favorites that bring back wonderful memories. The group sings many upbeat songs and beautiful ballads. Expect to hear the hits of artists such as Ben E. King, Tanya Tucker, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, The Coasters, Roy Hamilton and Bobby Vee.
“It never gets old,” said Chad Johns. “It just doesn’t get any better than this, singing with my family has always been what I wanted to do more than anything.”
“I don’t know of anything better than singing everyone’s old favorites with your family,” said Dennis Johns.
