CLEARWATER – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and NARAS Lifetime Achievement Award winners The Beach Boys will perform Tuesday, Dec. 13, 7:30 p.m., at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater.

The Beach Boys will present an evening full of holiday songs and chart-topping hits. Tickets start at $40. Call 727-791-7400 or visit www.rutheckerdhall.com.

The Beach Boys’ classic songs epitomize the spirit of the California lifestyle. They have become an American icon to a worldwide audience. “Surfin’ Safari,” The Beach Boys’ first hit, launched a string of chart-topping songs that spans more than 50 years and includes eternal anthems of American youth such as “Surfin’ USA,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music,” “Kokomo” and more.

The Beach Boys continue to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut in 1962. Last year, their Capitol Records release “Sounds of Summer” was certified triple-platinum with sales of more than three million by the RIAA. Its companion “The Warmth of the Sun” marked a resurgence in Beach Boys interest that has again rocked the world.

The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Grammy-winning songwriter Bruce Johnston, who along with Jeffrey Foskett, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill (of The Cowsills) and Scott Totten continue the legacy of the iconic band, playing an astoundingly busy schedule of concerts, averaging 150 shows a year.

The Beach Boys were inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and won the NARAS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001 along with The Who, Bob Marley, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr. and Les Paul. They have worldwide album sales of more than 100 million and still, The Beach Boys continue to have fun, fun, fun, with no end in sight.
