Hernando students face minor burns…
HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — 35 Hernando County students had to be evacuated from a school bus on Thursday following a hot fluid leaking from the bus. The children were students from Weeki Wachee High School.
Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and examined the minor burns on two children. The children did not need to be transported to the hospital to be treated further and the parents were notified.
The cause was indicated as a coolant line leak. Hernando County school officials are investigating the case further to prevent further issues.
