City of Tampa Revises Solid Waste Collection in Observance of the Veterans Day Holiday

 City of Tampa offices will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2016, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.  Customers scheduled for collection service or needing access to the McKay Bay Transfer Station on Friday, November 11, 2016 will be affected.  The revised collection schedule is as follows:

•  Residential accounts: There will be no collection on Friday, November 11, 2016.  Regular garbage collection service will resume the next scheduled service day (Tuesday, November 15, 2016).  Recycling and yard waste collection will resume on Friday, November 18, 2016.
• Commercial accounts: There will be no collection on Friday, November 11, 2016. 

1. Roll-off, compactor and dumpster customers- Friday collection will be serviced on Saturday, November 12, 2016.  Saturday collection will remain the same.  Regular service schedules will resume on Monday, November 14, 2016. 
2. Curbside cart customers- Service for commercial garbage customers with 95/65 gallon cart service will resume on the next scheduled service day (Tuesday, November 15, 2016).  Recycling cart service will resume on Friday, November 18, 2016.
3. All other cart customers- Friday collection will be serviced on Saturday, November 12, 2016.  Saturday collection will remain the same.  Normal service schedules will resume on Monday, November 14, 2016. 

• McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2016 and will re-open on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
