Temporary Lane Closures on N Armenia Avenue June 19, 2018 for Pavement Investigation Work

A portion of N Armenia Avenue between W Tampa Bay Boulevard and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will close on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 for pavement investigation work.  Hillsborough County contractor will be collecting 5 coring samples of the pavement in N Armenia Avenue between W Tampa Bay Boulevard and  W Kentucky Avenue to determine the subgrade soil conditions. One (1) northbound and one (1) southbound lane on N Armenia Avenue between W Tampa Bay Boulevard and  W Kentucky Avenue will close at 9 am on June 19, 2018.  One (1) northbound and one (1) southbound traffic lane on N Armenia Avenue will be maintained at all times, during the construction, with delays. 

All lanes on N Armenia Avenue between W Tampa Bay Boulevard and  W Kentucky Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on June 19, 2018, weather permitting.

The City recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. Northbound and southbound motorists can use N Habana Avenue between W Tampa Bay Boulevard and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in lieu of N Armenia Avenue.  Truck traffic should use N Himes Avenue between W Columbus Drive and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to avoid possible congestion on N Armenia Avenue.
